Paid Opportunities

  • City Year AmeriCorps members serve in schools all day, every day, preparing students with the social, emotional and academic skills and mindsets to succeed in school and in life. City Year is a one year fellowship program where fellows work alongside a team to create learning environments where all students can succeed. As you earn a stipend, you help support students' social, emotional and academic development while providing schools with additional capacity to enhance learning and belonging. | Full-time

  • Code For America works shoulder to shoulder with community organizations and government to build digital tools and services, change policies, and improve programs. Code for America’s Community Fellowship is at the core of our work to transform people’s lives by making government work for everyone in the digital age, starting with those most marginalized. | Full-time

  • Coding It Forward is empowering the next generation of mission-driven technologists. The Civic Digital Fellowship and Civic Innovation Corps are paid, 10-week summer fellowships for early-career technologists. Fellows work across software engineering, data, design, and product management to deliver policy, improve systems, and strengthen products on behalf of the American people. The Civic Digital Fellowship places technologists in the federal government, while the Civic Innovation Corps places in state and local governments. | Full-time

  • The Department of Local Affairs Best and Brightest Management Internship and Fellowship Program partners with counties, municipalities and universities across the state of Colorado, striving to meet the needs of communities, engage future leaders, and meet students where they are in their professional development, connecting them to community work in public service.

  • CHCI provides leadership, public service, and policy experiences to outstanding Latino students and young professionals, convenes Members of Congress and other elected officials, corporate executives, nonprofit advocates, and thought leaders to discuss issues facing the Latino community and the nation.

  • Lead for America is a nonpartisan two-year paid fellowship program for recent grads dedicated to building community through strengthening and transforming local government institutions. | Full-time

  • Foreign Affairs Information Technology Fellowship funded by the U.S. Department of State, the FAIT Fellowship provides academic funding, two paid summer internships in the U.S. Department of State, mentoring, and professional development. Upon successful completion of the fellowship and the State Department’s entry requirements, FAIT Fellows receive an appointment in the Foreign Service as Information Management Specialists (IMSs).

  • Missouri Science & Technology (MOST) Policy Fellowship offers opportunities for scientists, engineers and other outstanding scholars to gain first-hand experience in science policy at the state-level. MOST Legislative Policy Fellows provide rigorous, nonpartisan science policy research for members of the Missouri General Assembly. MOST Executive Policy Fellows assist state agencies with incorporating data management, analysis, visualization, and integration practices to improve program design and implementation according to agency priorities. | Full-time

  • Second Day works to arm changemakers with all the tools they need to build a social impact career. The Impact Fellowship matches you with a paid internship at a mission-driven organization. Fellows receive professional development, career discernment, and mentorship during their time with Second Day. | Part-time

  • The Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program is a two-year training and leadership development program at a United States government agency, administered by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, for advanced degree holders. | Full-time

  • Venture for America builds economic opportunities in emerging cities across the US by recruiting, training, and matching recent graduates with growth-stage startups and equipping them with the skills and resources to be leaders or founders themselves. As a VFA Fellow, you’ll learn from world-class entrepreneurs and business leaders at an intensive Training Camp before starting a full-time salaried position at a startup in one of 14 US cities. VFA supports Fellows with ongoing mentorship, access to a robust network of Alumni & advisors, and help funding their ideas when they’re ready to start businesses of their own. | Full-time

Unpaid Opportunities

  • The Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs strives towards a society shaped by effective, active leadership. Our mission is to develop emerging leaders to work and lead across differences in the face of complexity and ambiguity. The Coro Fellows Program is a nine-month, graduate-level, immersion that uses New York City as its classroom and equips future leaders with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to accelerate positive change.

  • Global Health Corps’ mission is to mobilize a diverse community of leaders to build the movement for global health equity. They envision a world where every person lives a healthy, dignified life.

  • New Politics recruits, develops, and helps to elect servant leaders at the federal, state, and local level. Their candidates come from the military, peace corps, Americorps, and other national service programs. They specialize in a number of areas including: (i) coaching potential candidates on what to expect when running for office, (ii) standing up teams around our candidates and building out initial campaign infrastructure, and (iii) working alongside candidates and managers as trusted advisors who are not paid for their services.
